CAP-HAITIEN, Haiti – At an impromptu press conference today, visibly embarrassed members of the Kanaval Committee admitted that they cannot remember the musical groups that are slated to perform at this year's Mardi Gras.

"There's no other way to put this way, this is rather embarrassing," said committee president Gilbert Bailly. "We can't seem to find the list with the all the bands that are supposed to play. And we have absolutely no recollection which bands we invited."

According to Bailly, the list reportedly contains over 15 bands chosen to entertain hundreds of Kanaval attendees next week.

"I definitely remember it was over 10 bands," said Bailly. "Other than that, I'm drawing a blank. Was Djakout on the list? How about CaRiMi? I'm sure we invited them. We must have, right? Man, we really have to find this list."

At press time, the committee urged anyone who happens to come across the list to "please send it to us as soon as possibe".
